You need to find a better way of recording because those songs would be great with better sound, it needs bass. the stranger song would be great with a catchy chorus. but its your art not mine.

I agree, your sound needs to be better. Also your arrangement and production could be better also. I keep expecting the songs to go somewhere and it keeps the same beat, nothing fancy going on with the music. As for the vocals - I'm like this when you are working with your influences. Take what impresses you about them, but make it your own. We have one Michael Jackson and there's enough cats out there doing his moves, doing his "oohs" and "icks" and "eees." Also, the vocals are so low you can't really make out what they're saying and you might want to think about using a better vocalist in your recordings. But it depends where you want to go with this and how professional you want to be.

I think you could really benefit from going to lectures or classes in theory and songwriting or working with a seasoned producer someone who can bring you out more. I'm not saying this to be mean. Many musicians make the mistake of not taking advantage of further learning because they think their music is their own, no one understands them or it, or they don't need it - when in reality these things can only help you get better.

Hell yeah!

I wanted someone 2 gimme an honest opinion. I would LOVE 4 someone else 2 sing my songs, because im not really a vocalist, but im the only one here.

That track was recorded in Aug. 2001, it was turned up by me and i tried 2 put in a deep vocal for the falcetto, but it didnt forefront so great.

Everyone always tell me that my songs are damn good ideas, but need a little more input..i would like a co-producer, but im here, all alone, nobody knows how 2 use the tech i use, so i really cant get a grip on what would give me my 10/10.

but im gonna keep putting stuff out there 4 yall 2 review me, that's what it's there 4 U! Not me! I hear my stuff all the time, I get tired of it!!! lol!

Next one willbe a track finally co-written by my friend Quanise Robinson. I wish she sung the track, but she is 2 busy with her baby & stuff...

Any more feedback! I love it!

As far as I heard, your voice is not clear amd it kind sounds like you're being choked.
As others have said, your music sounds like it would take the listnerer(sp?) somewhere but it remains bascically the same.

That's ROCKWELL. Son of Berry Gordy :I: think.

I agree, the whole song sounds like it should be an intro to something else, and maybe even be half as long.

Take what impresses you about them, but make it your own. We have one Michael Jackson and there's enough cats out there doing his moves, doing his "oohs" and "icks" and "eees."

nod Exactly. Why imitate someone else when you can write from the heart and maybe even come up with a unique style? Not saying that you don't write from your heart, but if there isn't much there apart from imitation it becomes a bit stale.

I still like Displaced, like I told you before, but the vocals DO need to be turned up. Don't be shy! That's a good track! I just listened to One's 1 and I thought it was a good groove. I could hear a cool keyboard melody over it, I was just kinda humming something over the top and "picturing" what sound would be cool to use. So what you got there inspired me. Let me know if you want to hear my idea. Keep workin' man. Peace.

Hell yeah,

I do not like Displaced as much as alot of people do, it to me was a throwaway track, but now i think twice about it because i got alot of rave 4 it.

One's 1, is kinda a throwaway jam, but it rocks. I WOULD LOVE 2 hear ur idea, so keep me posted, u can call me, org note me if u want anything...just contact me somehow. lol!

Im glad Stranger (one of my fav's 2 me) was recieved as being a bit lame because of the voice and all, but i think with some arrangement and work, that is a damn good track.

Love u guys!
