heh...

I kind of like it. Something about it, it's charming. Is that you doing the falsetto? If so, I like the sound of your voice.

It sounds sparse, and obviously, that's what you were going for... but if your goal was to make it radio friendly I'd build it up a bit more.... Every time after you sing "so sad, so sad so sad sayayayaya" I expect it to grow into a fuller sound than it does. Also, I like the synth medley, but not the biggest fan of the synth effect you chose. It's close though,

Nevertheless, I like what you're doing, and sharing, and hope you keep up the good work! smile I hope you take my comments with a grain of salt.

Thanks for the comments! I'm just going for the joy of doing music. It was ment to be a throwaway, but everybody that hears it seems to enjoy it and smile. So it's all love.

Okay, except for my having to turn down my sub a few notches, I really like this one!

Where'd you get the string pad? Are you playing the guitar in that?

Very nice.

Hey, I'm not familiar with Edirol Orchestral, is it a synth version of strings, or does it sample a violin?

I ask because, as a violinist myself, it actually sounds like a string is being hooked by the bow. Horse hair has tons of tiny little hooks in it that actually repeatedly more or less "pluck" a string, and it has that sound. So I am impressed. Also your keyboard guitar is a very good substitute as well. I wasn't thinking it was real, but at the same time I couldn't say for certain it wasn't.

Anyway, cool song. smile

Your voice and style sounds like an Andre 3000 track - which I like - it's got that playful quality to it and doesn't take the song subject too seriously. Keep up the good work!
