Linn drum for garageband? help

I know this has been discussed years ago, but does anyone know a way in 2009 to get the classic linn drum sounds into garageband? It would make my life come alive if anyone could tell me.
thanks in advance people

You have to find them online, and then when you do, they import into GB files just like regular loops. Beware, though - they can add a LOT of space to your music file overall.

You can find them online as Eaglebear stated, but you could also sample stuff yourself and import it. I've done that. I sampled part of "Batdance" in a song and it worked fine. (Oddly the song was called "Free (U Got Me)".)

Good point. And I would add to that: once you upload them, it's up to you to make the most of them. I would also say don't be afraid to try and create your own recipe of Linn sounds - repeat those classic Prince beats, but for tutorial purposes, and then put your own spin on them.

Agreed. For a great example (pre-GarageBand days, mind you), find the Looptopia bootleg that my friend Chuck did. He really took drum samples from "Anotherloverholenyohead" and "A Love Bizarre" and truly made them his own for his remixes of Prince songs.
