How to spice up my piano playing... any tips??? I've been playing the piano since I was a little kid and am pretty good, but I mainly play classical and I would like to branch out.
I love Prince's style of playing, especially his big synth solos on songs like Head or When Doves Cry. I've noticed many of his solos sound improvised and it sounds so effortless... can anybody give me any tips on how to achieve this style of playing???

well im ny experience-if your classically trained-loosen up lol-you folk are sooooo serious at sessions. You should be cool with improv-classical=lots and lots of scale practice-right ? A good piano tune is How come u dont call me anymore-I defy anyone not having fun playing that one. Play from the heart-not the head or text books. And im my experience-some nice weed always helps lol-though if its good stuff-after the practice please lol
