I'm very curious to know what each of you use to record your music. What recording system, musical instruments, software, monitors, mics etc...

I've been a sound engineer since mid 90s and an active member and moderator of several Israeli sound forums, and wondering if things are different overseas

I used to record mostly on Cubase and Protools in the studio, with a lot of high end soundboard gear, but also recorded at home with Nuendo and VST Instruments and plugins, using a MIDI keyboard, guitar and vocals, processing everything in the computer.
