What More? See if you can guess the subject animal in this poem, and what the symbol of this animal is...
What More? by Eagle Bear What more price Must we pay For the hanging on of your claws Day by day? What more grace Must you beguile For your casual amble Down the aisle? What more woe Shall we have to deal Because your caffeinated fur Killed the seal? What more time Must we await Before you let your horned brother Grab hold and steer fate? Something about your long overdue winter’s nap… ©2009 Eagle Bear

[Edited 2/21/09 14:15pm] Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! It is about a polar bear - the "horned brother" reference is about a bull: bear bull (market) Catch my drift? (Part 2 of this tale is coming soon...)

Congratulations 2elijah
the "claws" would have been too easy of a guess for it be "eagle". I got the bear part, but now see that the seals were a big part of the clue. looking forward to part 2~ my phone is heavy

Here's pt. 2:
Curious thing about this beast Is the way he came to power Twas little more than neatly packaged chance Which under the sun gave him his hour But now his horns were lead To charge a bit too hard So the white critter reached back And lay her trump card This card had a spade Which came to life and jumped Out of the queen's hand And into the bull's head it pumped His legs gave their final kick, Then dead as God he lay And she knew her young would be safe At least on that day Yet she fascinated so On the monarch's newly thrust phallus The gleam in her eyes almost maniacal The calling in her loins cold, callous She was getting an idea...
