It's Instant It's Instant
Life's persistence Yet our restraint is maintained An uncool world run by fools The day is revisited with our conscious Open or not the day is faced Window is open for choice & change Mechanics move & the gears are grinding The years lose sight & the earth is mined All of our treasures & paths are on display Every role we've ever lived or gave Everyone's past a part of us Death or bust What does your soul sign say? The minute we're born, torn From our deep sleep in space Waiting to arrive & find our body in time This is an old poem I wrote in a sketchbook a few years back. I found it recently & put some music to it. | |
