"Princesque" Screenplay

I have a very unique screenplay I'm looking to turn into a film.

It's called SISTA MIDNIGHT (not to be confused with the Iggy Pop song, SISTER MIDNIGHT)

It's a story of a young black woman, STACEY STORM who hosts a call in radio show about relationships...she adopts a pseudo-character, Sista Midnight, thus turning into a sultry sex vixen who spell-binds her listeners with her wisdom. Consequently, she falls for one of her callers and an all out love affair ensues over the airwaves during the course of several weeks until they rendezvous.

Although set in present day, the story and mode has an eerie mid-80's feel to it and conjours up images of First Avenue in one's mind. I would characterize as a mix between Purple Rain and Love Jones. All who've read it seem to think it has something special.

Sounds interesting.
How many characters are in your film?

The film has 4 principals and 5 secondary characters.

I've reached out to a couple of "Prince Alums" to look at partnering but no committments yet. I'd be willing to farm the screenplay out to any filmmakers who'd be interested in taking it on.

Movies aren't made like this anymore and I think this film would blaze because of the nostalgic feel and story line. If you liked Purple Rain and Love Jones, you'd really enjoy "Sista Midnight."
