All is well here. Im still doing the Cloud9 Mission thing but since my home studio stopped working, I have not had the funds to buy new gear or hire a pro studio. The last 4 years, Ive just been writing and recording (very rough sounding) demos in order to remember my songs. But I still intend to release/record some new stuff soon.

My band (New Groove Formation) have been very busy this last year. We released our first album and had a great tour around the uk festivals in the summer. We also signed a publishing deal recently!! My next gig with them is in Italy in January and its the first time my drums have left the UK, can't wait! Fingers crossed for 2009!

Ive been trying to promote my drumming more over the last year or so. Ive been teaching drums since I left school which is great fun, dont get me wrong, but I feel like my own drumming has suffered as a result and Im hoping to find some more session work in 2009. Been pratising hard and trying to get as much exposure as possible, hence my not posting here much these days. Im almost completely pro music now as I teach and play for a living. I still do the occasional web site for a little extra cash but its nice to be living the dream

Ive created new MySpace and FaceBook profiles and Im going to start on a new website after christmas to promote Lewis the drummer. I figure The Cloud9 Mission will always be there but I need to promote my drumming and main instrument before I work on my solo project again.

Ive uploaded quite a few videos of my drumming recently, sadly mostly bad quality as my phone camera is rubish. Gonna try to use the new web site idead to promote my drumming but also give video drum lessons featuring some of the many ideas Ive been messing around with in the teaching room.

Well I had not planned to write such an essay lol but, whilst typing this, I realised how long it had been since I last spoke to you all. Hope all my old org buddies are doing well in their musical projects and otherwise. Any plans for another New Funk Order project?
