the man beside me must have patience and understanding even though i am simple and not that demanding i don't need fame or riches i just want him to love me at the end of the day i want to be in his arms where he's holding me the man beside me will be the man of my dreams sparks will fly when everytime he kisses me and each day that goes by i'll let him know how much he means to me i will forever love him the man beside me the man beside me will know God comes first He's the One who has been with me through all the love and hurt there's always time to learn to love again my faith has kept me going strong love is something beautiful to believe in when i find the right man i'll give my all chorus the man beside me will be in this for love i won't settle for anything less for me i know what's best the man beside me will know i'll be in love with him he will know that i appreciate him and i will be faithful til the end... and i will expect the same in return... this song is a work in progress... short story behind it couple of life changing experiences happen to me this year One regretfully iwas with a man i shouldn't have been with,but he didn't tell me a very important event that happened in his life this year.When i found out it nearly destroyed me.But it didn't.I went back to Faith Tabernacle Church and really discovered what's most important-God!I rededicated my life to Him and took a vow of celibacy until married.The song also reflects on another male friend of mine,who stopped talking to me after i told him sex was out of the question.I am not a saint.I am not perfect,but i am a changed woman for the better. | |
