Writing For Hurting

My life has fallen apart
Living with a confused mind and a messed up heart
Thirty six years and this is what life has brought
Alone despondent hurting unsure of what lessons i ve been taught

In the house of my mind knocking on closed doors
So accustomed to lying on cold floors
Figuratively foetal position assumed scared shaking
But the emotions are literal of them there is no faking

I dont have hope i dont have belief
I dont know what to do i can find no relief
What should i accept i should let go of what
Me the man opportunity has forgot

Objectively this is a process within a process
Subjectively overwhelmed pained despondent and in distress
Listening to people singing songs of unrequited
Me seeing the sentiment to it feeling undesirably united

Should i travel should i perform
Within so many masters to which one should i conform
Right now i sit with despondent
Writing from hurting a committed correspondent
