Can someone remove the lead guitar from a track?

I've been practicing this tune, and as much help as it is figuring out the solo, it kinda gets in the way when I want to solo over the song and come up with my own licks. Can someone remove the lead guitar from it and essentially make it a backing track?
chill..prince doesnt like men being front row, makes it hard to sing the ballads

Sure you can if you have a playback device that allows for "center cancel" so you can play along without the the guitar track. I know the latest Roland "Micro" series amp has this feature. This feature can also be found on some phrase training devices.

Without going into a lenghty explanation just check out this link to Roland site for the Mobile Cube ...considering picking up one soon myself....
