my suggestions... take 'em or leave 'em

i'd keep it from getting too busy... leave it at is for a bit... maybe bring some bass root notes in on 'it's true love hurts'... and some keys (strings?) in on 'this was s'pose to be the night'

i'd then pick the song up a bar before the solo by adding drums/percussion... double the solo with an electric guitar... and have a busier bass riff behind it with the strings still there

i'd keep it happening then through the chorus (even though etc) with maybe a seperate riff on the electric guitar.... but i'd then drop everything out except the acoustic and vocals and repeat the chorus... with maybe a less busy acoustic rhythm... even just single strums... and finish like you have

Thanks for all your replies. I have a few people that have expressed interest in a collab. I guess we'll see what happens I've been told by many to not do too much to the song. I happen to agree with you momentofbliss - those were pretty much my thoughts exactly!

Collaboration? Do u mean input or 2 actually take part in ur music. Eye'd love 2...if u mean the latter. Eye sing all the time and eye can't w8 2 b able 2 sing in a club someday.
