I like the way you bring in all the instruments gradually
until it comes to a crescendo, and the fade is perfect. Cool sounds...I love it!

Thank you! (takes bow) I was goin' for a Sly Stone type effect with the title.

Nice track eaglebear. I'm not a musician, but it has a nice electronic/funk beat.

that's my style...layering. It's easy enough to make happen. The influence for me doing this comes from hearing Prince perform 17 Days live in Cafe de Paris in the 86 Hit & Run Tour. As funky as he does that song, I'd have had the instruments have more intro solo time, say 8 measures instead of 4.

Great stuff eaglebear. I'm imagining a bunch of funky Hopi Indians jamming outside at night, overlooking the grand canyon, in anticipation for their "5th world" when I listen to this.

Here's Lemuria... http://www.garageband.com...aSjZVi_a2o The hopi indians supposedly have connections with Lemuria. I listened to some of your other compositions. Keep up the great work!

I do hear the tribe you speak of. Somebody say peace pipe, cuz the album I'm about to release will be a vision quest for sure...alluded to when I talked about people ingesting something called club scrub.

Hey hey dig the groove. I think you could do a lot with the visual with a track like this. I'm not good with video myself, though. lol. I dig the synth bass and all the instruments coming in. In this section of the forum are some of my own tracks check it out if you wish. Keep on cre8ting.

I think if I learned how to film a visualizer while some tracks were playing, that would be a step. Anyone know how to do that here that could tell me nice and free like?

You're welcome eaglebear. When you create a track like this,do you have lyrics in mind? my phone is heavy

Not generally, but that's because I don't like writing song lyrics. For me to do so, execution has to be just so lyrically, and that requires edit after edit after edit.
However, I am open to having someone write lyrics for this song, all depends on the subject matter they interpret as belonging there. And BTW, tony23K and all other orgers that have been showin' the love, it is MUCH appreciated. tony23k said: eaglebear4839 said: Thank you! Thanks for explaining the process.I find it fascinating.

I s'pose I could "Housequake" it, lyrically. Prince's lyrics in that song sound like skat.

Not an actual mixer, but there are plenty of mixing controls in the programs I use.
