Interesting take on "Girls and Boys" Hope you don't get any legal hasstle from Paisley Park.

You have a very beautiful voice that compliments your very beautiful image.

Big Up Your Boy - deffinately has the current vibe to it but that "indian icing" deffinately made it unique!

Girls and Boys - Although you sing it wonderfully, nothing beats live instruments on this song. So I'll always be partial to the original.

Playa - Nice ethnic vibe going on in the backgrounds, but almost cliche'.

the tracks are just demo's for now...all done in a few hours...yes i would love live instruments eventually!

if there are problems with paisley park then i will deal with them when that time comes. i don't expect any as these are demo's and not for sale...YET!

Sammy, you are very talented. I really like "Big Up Your Boy", and I like your take on "Girls And Boys". "Playa" is cool. I like the music selection on "Big Up". Your music makes a great contribution to the number of independent artists. The major labels don't know what they are missing.

Great voice, girl! I'm trying to think of who you sound like... Who are your influences, vocally? You sound just as good as anyone on the radio today.

I love that cover of Girls & Boys. Who did the arrangement on that? I think its a great interpretation! A little Indian Techno!

Big Up is a great song too. Who wrote that one? Very funky.

sorry to confuse you hon...i wrote the lyrics and the melody idea..the producer did the music!

playa was done in a home studio and remixed digitally in another studio (cost me a bomb...and i think i need to rerecord it)

the other two was done in the same studio that Oasis used for the wonderwall album (yes i was in total awe...little old me )

these are just demos and need to be mastered eventually when i get the financial backing i need

"Girls and Boys" received a compliment to an already nice song. The ethnic influence on it was not over done, so that made for nice listening.

"Big Up Your Boy" and "Playa" sound like tracks you could envision hearing on the radio. Live instruments or machine, these tracks are really sweet! BUYB is funky, although (IMHO) a more driving drum track would do some more justice to it. Both of these could easily land you any gig you may pursue. Very complete-sounding compositions.
