You should continue to show your talents , obsessed. I know it has been awhile but still try. I feel the same as you do when it comes to showing off my poetry , but one day I will have the courage to post them here. All it takes is motivation and strength. Who knows maybe your poems , drawings , or photographs will bring some life into this forum. Remember , it's not the forum , but what you bring to the forum that makes it fun. Just take it one step at a time.

then there were a couple of threads that were mostly poetry.

Anyway, several of those folks aren't around anymore....a couple of them were
phenomenal poets, and honestly I give them much credit for encouraging
and inspiring me, and as a group we just clicked.

Some day I might write again....I think I'm going through a really "dry" spell.
I never was able to knock em off on a moments notice anyway like some folks.
I have to work at my poetry...honestly, it really doesn't come easily for me.

I actually wasn't going to post any of my poetry here until a friend of mine told me to try it out, so that is what I do from time to time. I do appreciate the compliments and inspiration I receive from others that write poetry here. which is greatly appreciated, and that is why I make sure I respond and thank anyone that took the time to read the poetry I post here and paid me a compliment, especially since I don't always get a chance to come to this forum, because most of the time I post in the P&R forums. .

Usually when I am at work, between breaks or on the weekends at home, when I have time, then I will stop in this forum to see responses from some of my poetry, and to read poetry posted by others here. Other than that I am mostly in the P&R forum, not in this particular forum all the time.
