I'm curious to see what paths people have taken as far as selling their music.

I have dozens of original songs recorded in what I consider to be salable form. I've been researching different forms of digital distribution (tunecore, magnatune, cdbaby, soundclick, snocap, etc.) and I'm trying to come up some sort of plan here. Anyone here use any of those? If so, one of the main things that I'm wondering about is what sort of legal coverage one seeks before selling music through companies like that. Copyright registration? Creative Commons license?

I'm not really trying to bug other musicians with legal questions here...just sort of looking around to see what steps others have taken when they were in my position. This thread could also be a bit of roll-call for the working musicians of this forum where you can let everyone know what you're up to!
