Please explain me perfect pitch. I was reading a bit about it over the weekend and i was hoping if any of you would go over your talents or of someone you know that has this endowment. How is this reached?,etc. thanks.

Basically Perfect Pitch is the ability to tell exactly what a note is just by hearing it. It comes in very handy when Im composing but can get annoying sometimes as Im always analising music when I hear it. Yesterday I was in a shop & there was background music, I was so busy listening to it & figuring out the notes & chord changes in my head that I completely forgot what I went in the shop for lol

Frank is a master at this.

It's also an excersise he does with his students.

I've tried to fake him out on the piano plenty of times. He's right on the money every time.

Even when I hit two random keys at the same time, he can tell me which ones they were.

Not sure if this is learned or a "special gift your born with" though.

It's a gift that you're born with, but it might not be noticeable at first.
I know a few people with that "talent". I really wish I had it too...
