The artist community doesn't get quite as many visits as it should, so I'm not sure how many are going to find this.

Before I even got the email, I saw this posted under the Prince Music boards. So I took a chance and gave it a listen.

Hearing it from a lower register is quite a different experience because I"m so used to hearing Prince's vocals. Heck, I even started singing in the higher key because the song's one of his more beautiful pieces.

And as a cover, this wasn't bad at all. In fact, it was a very pleasant change of pace for me.

Makes me want to sit down in front of my keyboard and start trying to check myself how to play it, though without the music in front of me, it could be easier said than done

One of my friends on the boards has been wondering about my singing voice because he seems to like girls who can sing as well as cook and a whole bunch of other things
It's nice to know that some guys aren't choosy about what they like in a girl

Anyway, nice work
and u get bonus points for having the courage to posting it here.
I know I still get a little insecure about posting some things about Prince, but covering his work and posting it is brave
