Where can I rent an instrument from?

My wife wants to play sax but she wants to try it out for a bit before she commits to shelling out the money for it.

Is there a reasonable place where you can rent musical instruments for a few weeks or so (I'm based in England btw)?

My local music stores all rent equipment, most for schools and kids.

If yours do not, pawn shops for a beat-up one for under $100.
