I wrote this earlier this year but havent edited it yet as is my usual way so please forgive the messy construction of the stanza, i will post again when i get a chance to really think about the edits. syble.


Flutterby Memories


Aqua shimmers the flutterby wings as they
dazzle the cornea with lustrous oil splashes,
an irridesence - hints of golden hues. They
whisper upon your cheek and spin a sticky web
around the receptive hair. Those pixie creatures
that minx with your papery thoughts. These climb
out of the lashes and listen through the ears, so
winding their mysterious ways into the air.

Still laughing in such sprite high vocals
as they thrust a dance upon a spidery
form. Those brownies of memories adorn
the face as a cradle of colours, changing
lights. Always moving it circles you,
caresses you and truly moves you. So
tantalising - yet nipping and scratching
they blow sugary dreams onto the grainy
cocophony that is spun.

Those silken fragile wings, flutterby
around, around, still around eternally
dancing, entwining, creating a visage,
a countenance that cannot be, will not
be undone.
