Release your soul and mind from the chains of slavery
You were born free..a God-given deserving right
the only chain meant for you was the
chain that connected you to your mother’s umbilical cord
that breath of life, between you and her, during your time
spent in her womb as she nurtured you within her,
and on the day she “released” you from her womb
you were born a "free" human being, without chains,
breathing free, not meant to be enslaved by another human being,
and she held you in her arms, and welcomed you into this world.
to be the free human being God intended you to be.
