Cut from the same cloth. Cut from the same cloth, we are
every thread woven the same yet each makes a unique pattern You say eternity is acheivable. I say it is not, unless the world expires a new millenium underpinned by yore. The oak and the lichen expands upon us, fostering old man time, in the clearing a fire burns indicating change. You say 'believe' and I say leave it, it's not necessary - just belong and breathe the air you live in. Cut from the same cloth, the count is good yet a gentle pattern is disturbed through its many colours and directions. You say, a prayer solves all the problems. I say, it salves the heart for a day, a new consciousness is growing. The oak and the lichen creep silently into eternity, never changing, always growing. But still we search for the maker and deciever. You say, cry into your fellows arms and I say, let the wind dry your eyes and breathe the life around you - here, today. Cut from the same cloth, you and I. Every second molded so new, still each molds the same pattern. You say, right and I say wrong. It is the same viewpoint from a different angle, a new reasoning is upon us. The oak and the lichen continue whatever, a never ending cycle of life, expecting nothing yet producing, feeding a source. And yet, you require replenishing daily atoning, forgiveness and I say - first grow your soul with each glorious morning. Cut from the same cloth, we are threads interwoven, silken and soft, coarse and harsh, mixing the hues of self- belief and a growing understanding, a unity of mind while differing intensly. Cut from the same cloth, you and I, us, we - FAMILY. walk with crooked shoes www.myspace/syblepurplelishous | |
