God send me an angel before its too late
Before my lonely bitterness seals my fate
Before time has passed me by
I pray you show me love before i die

My untethered loneliness runs abound
My lost soul desperate to be found
To find something tender to find something pure
From this perpetual confusion the cure

Too often i put my faith in something that's wrong
Always i let it continue too long
To the point i dont know what to do
To the point i question what was true

I m never on a winner
It has me thinking i m a sinner
Am i being punished for whats inside
Are my desires just suicide

God if your there take control
Show me what will bring peace to my soul
Make this man be at one
Unite everything that has come undone

I love a poem that challenges.
Poems that have a solid message.
Yet somehow take on new meaning everytime you read them.
