What mode is that? sounds like your bouncing off a few of them? Thanks so much for the comments...I've been working on the modes of the jazz melodic minor scales and the harmonizations they generate. Some of those chords and motifs do get a bit dark at times....and that can be a very effective vehicle in the development of a musical dialogue.  "Study and show yourself approved"
