Vocal advice, please (asthma related)

Is there anyone on the .org that can offer some advice or suggestions on what I can do to overcome hoarseness I have since I started taking a powder inhaler. I have tried hot tea, and that works, but not enough for me to hit the upper-register notes and falsetto scale that I can normally hit. Help!!!

Have u tried sucking on some ice? Friends of mine with asthma used to do that all the time.
The only other thing I can think of is puting menthol cough drops in lemon tea...I know it sounds gross, but the fumes from the hot tea and the cogh drops (lollies) help with the throat and its fantastic for colds, clears the sinuese too
