Frank, This is excellent. Big thumbs up!

I didn't pay attention to where this was submitted, and just clicked it blindly.

I thought it was so reminiscent of a lot of 70s fusion which I dig, Larry Coryell, perhaps, Weather Report, and by extension, Joe Zawinul whatever, you know the style that I'm talking about, that I looked you up on allmusic figuring this was maybe some old groove that was just dug up.

You really impressed me. Who are your influences, and what are you playing on the track?

Keep up the good work, man.

Thank you very much for your insight...I have always been a big fan of artists such as Joe Zawinul, Jaco Pastorius, John McLaughlin etc... I just got McLaughlin's two instructional DVD's...I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to excel in there musical development. Thanks again!

the accompanying image of the water and the droplet of water: awesome!!!!!

the song: reminds me for some reason of Sting in the beginning and then becomes more Prince -like. I think that image and that intro are things Sting would be drawn 2, as he speaks about things in a way noone else does, as does Prince.

Very mellow but up-beat/funky as Mr. Man would say. Would love 2 hear it live to get the full effect of it.

A song to bop ur head 2 at a jazz/pop club though, no doubt in my mind.

Well done honey!

Shoot, I love Mahavishnu Orchestra, and my jaw constantly hits the floor at Friday Night in San Francisco with Paco and Al.

I am not a guitarist, I used to be a decent violinist, but even though I can't play the stuff I have sure done plenty to appreciate it.

Interesting that I heard one of the same loops in your Subterranean Vacation (purely coincidental) that I am using in one of my tracks.

I didn't use any loops ...all the drums I programmed from scatch in Logic.

well, then Apple's Garage Band '08 took one of your sounds and looped it. They call it "contemplative synth 04" in the programming that I have. Here's how it sounds:

http://www.tindeck.com/au...h%2004.mp3

I'm just pointing it out to you, cuz it sounds identical to what I hear at the beginning of your song.

well, I'm not saying that what I heard is or isn't original. Not questioning it there, just observing that it's the same sound as an Apple Loop I have in use.

I'm sorry, I miss understood you about the loops...I thought you were referring
to drums grooves not synth pad sounds. The drums are programmed by me...as far as synth sounds
go, they can come from many different sources. Thanks again for listening. biggrin

That's cool. I meant no harm, and I actually believe that when this kind of thing is noticed, that's how unity happens. It could mean that musically, you and I are on the same plane or similar planes.
