Fuzzy Pink Bunny Slippers Here's the next excerpt from The Sky Stretches Blue - the explanation behind it is this: I'd been seeing a number of images pop into my mind, portraits if you will, that if I were to ever commission someone to paint, would be quite a funny exhibition. This is one of them (and a bit timely, if you ask me):
Fuzzy Pink Bunny Slippers by Eric Franklin Crow There is a woman In a long, yellow bathrobe, Pink horn curlers And fuzzy pink bunny slippers. She’s got a 32-ounce coffee mug in her left hand, A credit card in her right, And green morning breath coming from her mouth. She’s walking into a mall Toward a computer kiosk, Open to an online shopping website. There’s a hyper child on one side of her, And a woman in “snatch-and-grab” mode on the other - Neither can touch the computer, For the thin yet visible blue electric shield blocking them, Yet the hyper kid has still managed To get a food stain on the monitor ©2007 Eric Franklin Crow | |
