Hi all,

Ive been remixing some Prince songs for a while (I do it at home just for fun), but Ive been told some of it is quite good - so I was thinking about putting them on a website to share with my friends (for free of course)..

I was wondering of the legalities of doing this, considering that I am not profiting from it and also considering the current presence of the Prince "Police", Im not sure whether I should make any of it public depsite what my friends say..

I wouldn't do it. It is illegal even if you aren't making any money from it. Most artists don't mind this kind of thing... but Prince does. If the Prince police do find the website you'll probably be sent a take-down notice.
