Buying keyboards

Any suggestions? I am buying some keyboards. I'd rather have a regular old piano but it won't fit in my house. So I'm looking for something as close to the "piano touch" as possible (within budget) and not a lot of features. Though I do like the harpsichord option cool and the ability to record it internally (does this really work?). Yamaha looks good.

O thou great org artists, I always value your input. Please tell me your experience with various keyboards and any insights you might have on buying one.

I'm narrowing in on a Yamaha YDP323 "digital piano". They're selling it at an exceptionally low price at the Guitar Center.

mmm..
really depends what you what you need it for?
You can get the sounds with a midi keyboard and a copy of Akoustic Piano or Ivory...
you'll get grogeous sounds under the 400 dollars...
Now if you want weighted action thats a different story...
it all depends on what you need it for...

I definitely want weighted action. I'm an amateur so it's just to play on my own for fun, but I'm trained on the piano so I want it to feel as piano-like as possible. But the thing is, I'm also a media artist, and will record background tracks to my media projects. So having different voices would be cool if there is a way to get them out to the computer. The problem with the YDP323 is, it only has a Midi in/out/thru (not sure what that is exactly), no direct USB connection.

Can't go wrong with a Yamaha but it depends on your budget. Believe or Not Casio has a great lil electric piano 4 about $400.00
The Yamaha S08 is nice 4 about $900.00

I went with the Yamaha YDP323. It was marked down by about $400, so I got it for $800 (before taxes and warranty rolleyes). The lowest price I could find for the same thing online was $1200. I couldn't see a better deal, so woo-hoo! All I need is a cable to hook it up to my recorder, which will be a better than directly into the computer, I think.
