Do you like poetry? PAEUDA
by Gene Geter Last night I learned a thing or two Maybe a few things When I am with you time goes by fast Or maybe time doesn't move at all I remember it being 12 The next thing I know it is 6 As if movement in between didn't occur Like a jump or a hop skip on time itself I said I learned a thing or two I am truly happy when I am with you I thought about how could I make myself not snore So I don't wake you up I thought about how good your God has been to me And how good I must be to you for this to continue I learned another thing too We are young because we are living and not dying Man on earth for years have searched for the fountain of youth Researching deeply into books and into elements and chemicals Man not finding yet one clue Man has not realized that the fountain of youth is in each one of us Including you and me yes me and you The fountain of youth is in all our minds Once we all stop worrying about time Once we all stop thinking about getting old We will truly be young like the sunshine Like the flowers and trees loved by the sunshine And like my Sunny also loved by the sunshine Time is a trick to make you think you can?t spiritual fly | |
