That's great and no I don't take things that seriously
but I do believe that we are all inter-connected....

How's that?

smile

J-
That's fine, except that this guy looks as if he's seconds away from droppin'-n-rollin'. I'm not too sure I want to be inter-connected to him when that happens.

How did you manage to turn this one around on me?
You introduced the common ground, notion...with this is the unspoken declaration/assumption that I'm not on it. Shouldn't you, then, define it?

An intelligent discussion was what compelled me to show up. As a person who used to frequent this forum on a regular basis, I was encouraged to participate in a thread started by a familiar username. I showed up, answered the question to the thread. And still you haven't answered a single question that has been posed to you. So if it comes down to trolling instead of discriminating ones taste in order to make an informed decision over whether to participate in a thread... Then hell yeah, all hail Exhibit C.

Hi everyone ...

i have been at the org since 2001. i have shared many experience via The DownLoad Society here with you and i have met with a few of you. Styles, Vina, PP4, Marc i have had the pleasure of hanging out with you on a personal level. you are my witnesses "im not as crazy as some would believe" its all good. for me here its been about pulling away the onion skins to find my "true illumination" and hopefully entertaining as well.
i guess you can say im old school but with each new experience its a new beginning making me also apart of the new schoolers. because of this place i have been able to grow as a person as well as an artist. i am excited about bringing the current experience "777". if you know me i am not about the conventional way of bring it to you.. just letting it flow. ahhh hmmm yeah. so bring it on... and stay tune for more.

shout out to The Beautiful Blonde Rock Star.

Why does this concern you so? Why did it compel you to even comment?..especially since you weren't asking the questions. How do you know that I didn't attempt to get clarity on the questions later because I didn't really see how they applied to me? And how do you know that I wasn't having a little fun in the process of getting this clarity? Why do you assume that I'm discriminating? How do you know that I wasn't simply having fun, here too?

They're all rhetorical so you don't have to bother answering. One thing I will say it that, at least WE have a common ground. Just as things like "Exhibit C" compel you to stay away, it's lack of humor as well as those that feel they must dictate thread PROTOCOL, that make places like this slightly less desirable.

For the record, Protocol Guy, this thread was pretty positive, before your negative comment.

For those who don't already know,

I'm Jason Dodson, I am a political activist and spiritual teacher/student. I conceived the New Funk Order idea back in 2002. Me and another NFO original "Cloud9Mission" were chatting in late December of 02 and I brought up the idea that we should have a musical/sociopolitical/socioeconomic retaliation against the corporate "New World Order" out there in the world, and we could be like Parliament/Funkadelic and have like 50 folks on one song jammin' together in collaboration with one another. Kelly (Yamomma) and VinaBlue thought it was a good idea, and made it a reality by their skilled process implementation and web design.

As the first project unfolded, I was overprotective of the NFO idea and wrongfully so. I tried to control it, and I was wrong, and I apologize to anyone who I offended back then, I'm sorry. I was like an overprotective dad trying to keep his son from leaving and going out into the world. I didn't have anything against anyone in the NFO, I was just being paranoid, and I deeply regret it in hindsight. The NFO is something that is supposed to be freedom and art, not corporate structures and hierarchies. I'm 30 now, and I was only 25 when this started, so I have came a long way as far as personal growth is concerned.

I am ready to get higher, if you are. cool
