Greatest P-family song to cover. I'm digging on "CRAZAY" by Jesse and Sly right now - and I think WOW that song would rock balls if I whipped that out at a show. That, and I wish I could pull off "Life Could Be So Nice" with a band.
Those two song have such a killer GROOVE impact. What songs would you cover at a show, if you could. Like, no limits to the band, the instruments, etc... what would be awesome to whip out at a show and have the faces explode? I'm thinking Crazay - only 1 in 2,000 would KNOW the song, but that person would have to change their pants when I was done with it. OK, OK, I'll bite...
1. A stripped-down and dirty, spacious version of Jill Jones' 'For Love' with fuzzy Larry Graham style bass. 2. Sheena Easton's '101' has potential for a rock version. | |
