Does anyone know where I can find Prince(like) synth and bass sounds?

I want 2 make a groovy Prince-like funk song, already working on the beat 4 which I sampled some Prince bass and snaredrums, and some hi-hat-like sounds.

Are you talking loops, samples, midi modules?

Aren't they available on that NPG Sample CD set that Prince released several years back?

...oh yeah, it never did get released, did it?

Anyway, Nikkie... keep looking. Try google.com and type in "sounds" "samples" etc. There's a lot of free ones out there; otherwise, buying them is VERY expensive. Look at the magazine section in your local music store -- some magazines have CDs that include lotsa samples. Good luck. Please share your song when it's complete. Peace.
