TRUTH BY A MIRROR GHOST (NEW POEM) Copyright June 2007
TRUTH BY A MIRROR GHOST Alone in your dark room Laid on your bed Your face full of tears The make up all flaked You cried to heaven destroying objects on furniture asking God why you always suffer so much… A Ghost in the mirror talks: “Why are you crying? Allow me to be your friend……” You: “I don’t need friends, I have God. His love is enough for me.” - “So why are you so desperate, you don’t seem happy at all…. What are you missing?” - “LEAVE ME ALONE!!! I don’t know you, what do you want from me???!!!!!” Now the soul smiles: “You should know me very well but you keep ignoring me every day passing. I’m that side of yourself who demands to be listened by you but you, you refuse to pay me attention. If you won’t change your room will stay without no light and your heart will be always dead and you, you will wander lonely until the end of your days…….” [Edited 6/5/07 11:23am] | |
