i need help with synths

i am trying to get into synths, should i buy one or should i make one. which one will better? i am also a begginner in this, can anyone give me some tips on synths and what not. lol i am so confused, but lately i've been obessed with synths.

Visit your local musicstore and try your way around.
If you want to create music on your computer there are
lot's of programs available where you can use softwere syths.

I've been playing the "Nord lead 2" for years

Another really really cool synth I use is the supersmall
"MicroKorg"
Looks like a kids toy,but don't let that fool you.
The rich analog sound is fantastic I think.

Another synth I recently started working with is the
"Alesis ion".Got some really funky sounds on it:

These are a few of many,but I really suggest you visit a
