Opinions on my tracks??

Hey all,

just was interested to hear what some of you thought of my tracks.

I got a lot of stuff on there, but be sure to Check out "Ironic City" for sure (listen for the chorus sample...*wink*)

Thanks for the input!

O.K., I'll be the first.
I've only listened to 3 songs that I could download as mp3's.

What I like;
good drum programming, cool little noises on the beat.

What I don't like;
music based on one continuous loop. While maybe there's a market for it, even most techno has changes.

The mix had all of the sound coming out of all of my speakers. This is wrong, low tones and beats should not be coming out of my tweaters, they should be coming out of the sub-woofer.

Where are the guitars, bass and vocals? Not samples but actually singing.

So that's my 2ยข.

By the way I should have my stuff in the next few months and I'll be waiting to hear from everyone.

I listened to nearly all of your tracks.

My favorties are RUNNING FROM THE DARK,PARKAS AND BEANIES,and LIL PRINCE.

The songs between lil prince and parkas and beanies aren't enjoyable.

I do agree with most of the review that jamesmarshallhendrix gave even before i read his review.

your tracks get a bit repitative and sound basically the same throughout the 3 or 4 minutes. Change it a bit so the listener has something new,different and good to listen to.
But there is definetly a market for what u created.

I like everything I hear. Yes, they are repetitive, but I think this is exactly the kind of stuff you hear on maxi-singles. In other words, these are really good backing tracks for someone to sing over. Sure there should be some variation, but that comes from the original song that is being remixed.

I like all the tracks that Suby listed, as well as Thicker Than a Snicker, Conga Ona Roll, and Devil's Slide. Very groovy stuff. I dig it. Maybe sometime we can collaborate someday...

Thank you for the input! I feel the same way...listening to a beat by itself can become very monotonous, but I imagine most tracks with singing...

But no one said anything about the scratch chorus on ironic city! I thought ya'll would be diggin' that fo' sho.
