"Evanescent Surge"

I just finished a multi-tracked rock guitar composition call "Evanescent Surge". I used a Fender Deluxe Reverb with and AC Booster and a Mesa Boogie TriAxis with 2/90 power amp. Enjoy...

I thought it really took off when you got to the shredding. I'll always have time for some shred guitar

What guitar were you using for this? - I'd hazard a guess at the Charvel or Ibanez..

It has gone quieter comments-wise here recently, especially from how I remember it being a few years back, although its evident that plenty of people are coming by. Perhaps people are chatting at places more specifically relevant to their 'thing'.

However, I think this has always been a place where listening came before talking in many cases, and that the amount of comments attached to any particular piece of music or art or whatever is not of any bearing on its artistic merits. Certainly in my case, I derive most of my interest from the forum from listening to what people are doing, moreso than reading and adding to the associated comments. The only stuff that tends to get me posting here is techy, guitar-y stuff.

Well, since I've only been here a year next month, I don't ever remember
this forum being "really" busy...just in spurts now and then. But I love
listening to the new music all the artists bring in, as well reading the poetry,
and looking at the artwork....
although I have to admit as "talkie"as I am, I don't always comment either.

But my feeling is that the artists do derive a certain amount of satisfaction
from reading comments from posters....in fact many of them have said as
much. A few of the artists haven't been back in a long while, and I tend to
miss seeing new work from them. But creativity goes in spurts, and that's
probably why. As you can see, I've really settled in to this forum.

And yes as you know, I have read some of the techy, guitar-y stuff, although
my preference is to listen to "what" the guitarists do, not "how" they do...I
don't really know anything about that. But for those of you who play guitar,
it's understandable that you enjoy those threads..... cool
