from what I've read so far,I'm still questioning the importance of an artist "self portrait".
At some point it feels like an "old world" style of expression,that holds no relevance with today's technology.
Yet once you see an artist's work,you want to see them.

My brother-in-law is an artist, and he's done tons of self portraits
and portraits of my sister....people are his subject matter however,
for the most part. He's also a tad self-involved I have to say....he's
got self-portraits hanging all over the house.

In the non-traditional sense.

a part of me exists in each portrait,I'm sure.

They were mainly images with the name association.
