The Download Society presents.... a very rare occation.
Today on the 1 year anniversary of the creation of I'm Alive by DreamFirstBorn, Jew HRH O+> requested that we come join in on a rare occation. when we arrived at the studio we were asked to write lyrics to a track that HRH O+> had just produced for a close friend we were then played the tracked ONE time as we completed a ruff draft of lyrics, from out of a "hidden room", DreamFirstBorn, Jew appeared. HRH O+> introduces US to HIM as the Twins. we gave him our lyrics and he thanked us for "living the Dream" he then went into the vocal booth and laid down the vocals 2 tracks one right after the other straight through with no edits when he finished he requested that there be no editing... to keep it as it is. we asked why. he replied."in birth there is no retakes" then he was gone. My feelings on Dream first born:
Dreamfirstborn will go far & make a lot of good music if he stops talking like hes escaped from somewhere. You good dreamfirstborn, you dont need to play the excentric nutcase to win people over. Be yourself, stop pretending to be Prince's son & join in our conversations in here instead of only posting when you have a new song to promote. Thats why hardly anyone is downloading your music. Most people see a thread like this as an insult to their intelligence as we all know that both papercrayon & hrhthesmellofjazmine are you, we all know who you really are & we all know your posting history here. Treat potential listeners as human beings, or better yet, friends & you will get the downloads, exposure & fans. We'd love to hear what you, not the download society, have to say & contribute to the group. I like you, I think your music is cool but, like everyone else, Im tired of this façade. The 'Im Prince's dead baby' stuff was what mainly got me so annoyed at you. If you've ever lost a child or known someone who has you will realise that its not an acceptable topic for you to promote your music with, most people would consider that as sick. Whatever happened to the normal Dreamfirstborn I first spoke to & who is this nutcase? Thats all that can be asked. I think the whole group would appreciate you explaining why you have to post like this & why you have to pretend to be someone's dead child instead of changing your user name again & hoping we'll forget about it. The normal Dreamfirstborn... in our limited experience with DreamFirstBorn, Jew we found that there is nothing normal about him or his experience. like u we at first were under the impression that this was someone who indeed was in need of some sort of "help". but after our last encounter with DreamFirstBorn, Jew we have come to realize that help comes in the form of an ear. in closing to your question, what ever happen to the normal dreamfirstborn i spoke to, maybe, just maybe u stop talking and begin listening again. Listen, not just to this experience but to every thing and every one around you. we feel that the voice of DreamFirstBorn, Jew is the voice inside everyone of us. the voice that we refuse to listen to unconditionally. music is life. let those who have an ear... hear. thank you paper crayons @ The DownLoad Society | |

well, okay. mind you i'm an amateur, got my synth, tascam four track, drum machine and mic at home, keep myself happy playing around. don't have software for mp3 files yet, but am looking into cakewalk
since you asked if i were to tinker with that snippet of sound you offered i'd add a synth (naturally) carrying a melody in the lower register; some guitar chording; vocals; and percussive counterpoints like handclaps. uh, okay now that i've shard my madness with you. . . . it's all in my head, all in my head  | |
