What Do You Choose 5/5/07

Because i dont believe in your reality
I know you will want to belittle me
And its pointless me trying to explain
After sunshine we always need rain

My motivation is to defend myself not attack you
In this world it makes me one of the few
So call me detached and conceited
But with belief i 'll never be defeated

I can stand tall and feeling proud
Knowing with courage i speak aloud
I 'll talk of poetry and of love
Taking time to contemplate what's above

But dont confuse this with being weak
I'm a man undeterred in what i seek
Dare you open your mind and heart
To realise we are all at the start

These words i put into the world inspired by you
Always remembering we exist between the two
The inverse of what we think of what we feel
That with our choices its fate we seal

I really have to say this.....you're good with the poetry...I had
a youtube I was going to post earlier, but had to leave in a hurry
and now I can't find it....it kind of alluded to the set-up you have
with this girlfriend of yours.

It's tough, but it will get better I promise you....
