Can anyone recommend me any guitar tuition DVDs to improve my playing? Which ones have you guys used and found the most helpful?
I particularly want to learn about understanding key signatures and modes, transposing into different keys and learning to solo. Any titles would be great...

I particularly want to learn about understanding key signatures and modes, transposing into different keys and learning to solo. Any titles would be great... that you need to learn from theory. start with the circle of fifths (which will give you the answer to the key signatures). trust me, when you learn that, it is like a light bulb turned on over your head! Learning that, then your scales will teach you how to transpose and solo. I am not sure how you could learn that from a DVD, that is more from learning (by readnig) then applying theory.

Thanks for your reply...
I found this DVD which I think covers a lot of that: In this 75 minute lesson you will learn: Chord construction and chord types Scalewise progressions and how to use them The Circle-of-fifths, how to recognise and use it Comping, chords and single note solos Improvising with scale and chord-based licks How to recognise and solo over the II-V-I progression.
