Peace of mind is like a piece of time
Always wanting 2 unwind
In a past that has me coiled tight
Keeping me from sleep at night

Can i believe in a Serenity Prayer
When all around i see unfair
The divide growing every day
Everyone wanting it their own way

Do i walk alone with my thought
So aware how easy it is 2 taste distraught
Each day 2 drink from a soiled past
With heavy legs 2 forever last

So i'll look up 2 the sky
Thinking how i'd like 2 fly
Beyond this space and this time
Knowingly taking this life 2 be mine

Moving forward i'll meet you there
The place where tranquility we'll share
A moment owned by you and i
Thankful life allows us 2 fly
