Anyone recommend the best wah-wah pedal for funk guitar? I wanna nail some of those Sly-esque funk guitar rhythms. Anyone know which wah-wah pedal is the best?

Been using a Crybaby for years; in fact, I've had my current one for seven and it's still going strong! My author page: https://www.amazon.com/au...eretttruth

What happened to the tab site? anyplans to ressurect it? It isn't my site... I was just plugging it because I thought it was a cool idea for a site. It's a shame there isn't a really decent site to share funky guitar TAB amongst fans.

I formerly utilised a coloursound (red) wah pedal for guitar. I found the frequency range a lot more accomodating for what I was doing. The Dunlop was too wide for me... but it's subjective.
I also formerly utilised a Morley Wah for my Bass. I actually have homogenised it all into my Zoom 708ii Bass mini-pedal board for both! How bizarre! 'dre Tried many flavours - but sooner or later, always go back to the Purple Kool-aid!

I've tried them all and I always come back to my VOX wah.

You can't beat the Cry Baby.

I've had 2 Cry Babys (the last one being the Hendrix model - WOW, crazy deep swell! ) The pots on both went bad, and I haven't figured out how to replace them yet. Super annoying SQUEAK
I think Vox is probably the way to go for a classic wah vibe

Another Crybaby user here! I liked it better than the Vox they had at the store. I used to have the Hendrix model (with less highs) but the pots went and the regular crybaby is better for that Shaft-style wacka wacka anyway. [Edited 3/30/07 7:15am]

I used to use the Dunlop Crybaby, but I thought they had to much noise. I swithced to the Boss PW10 V-Wah. I also have the Boss AW-3.
