Jim worked for Prince at Paisley Park..... From 1995 to mid 1997.... He started in photography and worked his way up to building all the stage props for the Gold Tour. The tour had its problems because of the Warner Brother battle going on at the time. Unfortunately, I never saw this tour, so any input you guys can bring into this thread would be appreciated... The fun part was when he talked about Prince's "Get Wild" fragrance....he said everyone knew when he (Prince) was in the building because he would wear the fragance to the max....they could smell him coming... 
So one day just for fun, Jim sprayed the fragrance in all of the offices..when ppl came to work, they smelled Prince when they came in and wondered why he had been in their offices.... apparently, he didn't normally do that. When Prince found out about the prank, he got the biggest kick out of it...
This guy was sooo interesting.....we must have talked for 2 hours..... Life can be so fun sometimes.....the ppl you meet.... Just so you know, he said Prince was fun to work for....he had his moments of course, as any human being...but overall, this guy had a great time working for him.  [Edited 3/31/07 14:11pm] | |
