But I know what you mean about water on the violin. Once I started playing with the Punk Rock Orchestra we were crammed into small bar rooms with people banging against each other in the most pit and once, there was some beer flying.

Wow, I would totally freak out about the acoustic getting knocked around. I'm always freaking out about owning this fragile expensive object anyway without it getting knocked around.

Did I ever mention I broke the fingerboard off a violin once? I also snapped a bow in half once.

Me, too. 'Cept my reason was that I was 14 years old and was TOTALLY frustrated with trying to get something right that I was practicing. I was so mad, I threw my bow. And "SNAP". I told my mom I wanted to quit and when she saw the broken bow, she said something like, "Alrighty, then." I quit for about nine months and then picked it back up and didn't quit again.
