Hey you left out a few, some of which had Sheila playing on them. Here are some of my favorites, in no particular order.

1. Days of Wild - comes in and goes out with a bang!

2. New Position - took mad concentration for that one!

3. Cloreen Bacon Skin - gotta give my man Morris some dap!

4. The Sensual Everafter - the congos are addictive!

5. The Rainbow Children - i don't need to explain...

6. Darling Nikki - my namesake, I really like the drums.

7. Scandalous - drum machine or whatever, the arrangement is tight!

8. 2 Nigs United 4 West Compton - Sheila can definitely get that one!

9. Shhh - O my goodness!

10.I don't know what it is about Forever In My Life, but I love the groove!

Take a listen and tell me what u think...

So long as Kirk Johnson isnt playing I dont mind. I dont mind his drumming but its very lifeless compared to Blackwell, Bland or Sheila E

Anyone ever notice the groove laid down for "Make ya momma happy"

I've tried to follow that one a few times and just drop my sticks.

Remember, a good drummer is not messured on how hard and fast he plays.

Sorry Mr Blues but it's a sample of the great David Garibaldi playing 'Squib Cakes' from the Tower of Power album Back To Oakland, great groove though!

...and Squib Cakes takes the drums into other inventive territory as well. David Garibaldi is a great player. If you have haven't listened to Tower of Power, you should look into them... they are a tremendously funky band and they have one of the best horn sections in the world.

AND: Rocco, I wish you well.
