Two free amateur Prince-covers to download

While trying my best to abide by laws of copyright...

I'm currently offering a free "private" performance of 7 songs at my temporary free website for a small group of social acquaintances (meaning a small circle of friends here at prince.org who have read this post). Included in these 7 songs are four original instrumentals (written & performed by me) and two instrumental Prince covers (arranged & performed by me): "Darling Nikki" and "Still Would Stand All Time." The arrangements are very similar to the originals. Singers, feel free to take them and add your voice if you'd like.

I don't claim to be a musician. I'm just a songwriter who likes to have fun. I hope you enjoy some of my offerings. Peace!

(The Prince songs are analog recordings; sorry for any hiss or pops).

Thanks, rio. I'm looking forward to hearing what you might do with singing on top of the Prince instrumental. That's a tough one to try. I've been to your site and like your music and voice. I like the way you're able to get that stripped-down funk-type sound, especially with a computer program. You do very well. I tend more toward rock for some reason; though, I love funk. Maybe rock is more who I am? I was surrounded by it when I grew up.

Lewis, I look forward to your comments when you get a chance. I really dig your works and your ability to play all those instruments well. Like I said, I'm not a musician, but I do have fun making music. Any tips are appreciated. Thanks.
