It's true. Each instrument dictates the kind of music that's played to some extent (I know you can play punk on violin, it's just not common). So a desire to play a certain kind of music might make the decision for you (do you want ot be like Jimi or like Michael McDonald? okay not the best example for piano!) People are drawn to certain instruments, and it would be wrong to ignore the pull, whatever the reason. The attraction will only inspire you. And if you can't choose, I still say play both. My Legacy
