My Highest Charting Song, Today #138 Nationally on mp3.com!

My song, "No Need For Heretics" is nationally #138 on the spiritual hip-hop charts out of thousands of songs. I am very happy to announce this. I have always charted well in Illinois and locally, but this is a big step.

Just wanted to share.

Congrats Jason,

How do you get on those charts? The only music promotion services Ive seen on mp3.com that are any good, you have to pay for.

Very cool, Jason. I like the song and it does stand out. Maybe some people are starting to find out about you. Let's hope this continues. You have a lot of good things to hear, and a purposeful message. Hopefully the Word about you will spread. wink

I know that you are just being humourous, Chronic, but I will explain why I posted this.

Five of my songs have been #1 for the State of Illinois in varied genres, just not nationally for all genres, like this one was yesterday. This song was #138 out of nearly 5,000 songs in that genre nationally. Those 5,000 songs are selected from a pool of over 10,000 songs in the genre...the top 5,000 are chosen. Being 138 is a big accomplishment for me, because the only promotion I have is word of mouth and Prince.org. I do not perform in concert very often, only about once a year if that. So, to get to 138 nationally, over such Christian hip-hop artists like Cross Movement, John Reuben, Fros-T, Sphere of Hip-Hop, and many other well known mainstream Christian artists, is a big accomplishment for me.

Thanks for the forum, Ben. It helps me spread my music and message to the people.
